Ingredients In A Chocolate Martini

I love that this ultimate chocolate martini recipe has minimal ingredients! Most of which I normally have on hand or can make right at home.

Allowing me to easily and quickly whip up a few of these when the mood hits! This recipe combines three types of alcohol: vodka, Irish cream liqueur, and chocolate liqueur.

I usually just use whatever vodka I have on hand, but I do prefer to use Godiva chocolate liqueur as it has the best flavor with a silky finish. As for the Irish cream liqueur I like to make my own by following my 10-minute Easy Homemade Irish Cream Recipe.

Finishing off this martini recipe is heavy cream, chocolate syrup, and ice.

How To Make A Chocolate Martini

  • Chill The Ingredients – These chocolate martinis are best served chilled and over ice! Therefore, try to plan ahead by placing the ingredients in the fridge to chill. That way, when you’re ready to enjoy a martini, you can ensure that it will be perfectly cold!
  • co*cktail Shaker – A co*cktail shaker works best to mix the liquid ingredients together. Doing so over ice ensures that the martini is completely mixed while also continuing to chill the drink.
  • Heavy Cream – This simple ingredient delivers a deliciously creamy chocolate co*cktail! However, if you prefer to, you can omit it; just keep in mind that doing so will alter the final texture of the martini.
  • Dress It Up – Drizzling the glass with chocolate syrup before pouring the martini mixture in makes for a nicely presented drink! Or, for a chocolate caramel martini variation, you could swap the chocolate syrup out for caramel syrup. You could also dress the rims up by dipping them in your choice of syrup with sprinkles to match the occasion. For example, red and green sprinkles for Christmas, pink and red for valentine’s day, and so on!

Can I Make A Large Batch of This Marini Recipe?

Yes, this recipe can easily be made into a large batch. Great for hosting brunch or a holiday party! For a large batch, mix all of the ingredients together in a jug or container with a cover.

The mixed martini can then be stored for 2 to 3 days. When you’re ready to serve, carefully pour the mixture into a serving pitcher or punch bowl.

What Can I Use To Make This Martini If I Don’t Have A co*cktail Shaker?

Not having a co*cktail shaker is no problem at all! You can use a mason jar with a lid, a protein shaker bottle, or a coffee mug with a tightly sealed lid.
