The Litter-Robot might be turned off.
Verify that the power light is on and that the unit is plugged in to a working outlet. If the power light is on but the unit still isn’t cycling try unplugging the unit for 30 seconds then plugging it back in.
2. The Litter-Robot might be in Sleep Mode.
The Litter-Robot will enter Sleep Mode after 7 days of inactivity.
To wake the unit from Sleep Mode simply lift the lid and close it again. The unit will automatically exit Sleep Mode and resume normal operation.

The Litter-Robot might need to be reset.
If the unit has been having difficulty cycling you may need to reset the unit. To do this unplug the unit and wait 30 seconds.
Next press and hold the RESET button on the back of the unit for 5 seconds. The unit will make a beeping sound and the power light will flash. Once the power light stops flashing the unit has been reset and is now ready to use.
4. The Litter-Robot might need to be cleaned.
If the Litter-Robot isn’t cycling and you’ve tried all of the above troubleshooting steps it’s possible that the unit needs to be cleaned.
Over time litter and debris can build up in the unit preventing it from cycling properly.
To clean the Litter-Robot unplug the unit and remove the waste drawer. Next use a soft brush to remove any litter or debris from the waste drawer the litter pan and the sensors.
Be sure to clean the inside of the unit as well. Once you’ve finished cleaning re-assemble the unit and plug it back in.
