THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Preview: Will Lily Team Up with Victor to Take Down Billy? (2024)

This week on The Young and the Restless, it looks like Lily (Christel Khalil) is so fed up with Billy (Jason Thompson) and wants him out of the picture in her business maneuvers, so she is set to become in alliance with the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who we all know has no love lost for “Billy Boy!”

Meanwhile, Billy is still reeling from Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) betrayal with Adam (Mark Grossman), and its Adam who now puts the blame on his ex-wife for all the troubles they are having in their lives, while Chelsea is still begging Billy for another chance.

In addition, the fallout from the car accident involving Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) and Faith (Reylynn Caster) continues, with Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Heather (Vail Bloom) taking a look at their parenting failures and Sharon (Sharon Case) spiraling and Nick (Joshua Morrow there to potentially pick up the pieces.

This week on General Hospital, look for the fallout from Sonny (Maurice Benard) shooting and apparently killing John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington). And, if you recall, Kristina (Kate Mansi) is now armed with a gun, and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) also had threatened Cates. Then, leave it to Jason (Steve Burton) who will have to help Sonny cover-up the death of Cates.

In addition, and as previously reported, Emma Samms returns this week as Holly Sutton, and will be tied to Lucky’s (Jonathan Jackson) story on the canvas. Meanwhile, Ric (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) who have a complicated history, and that’s putting it mildly, will share scenes.

But what about Ava (Maura West), Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) and Agent Boyle? What will be the upshot of a seeming car crash? Is Isaiah hurt? Will Ava get away from Boyle? Stay tuned.

Before all-new episodes begin the Monday, September 2nd Labor Day episode will be an encore presentation of the August 1st episode. Itfeatures Kristina on the warpath in a confrontation with Ava, which leads to disastrous consequences, when Kristina falls through the window and ultimately loses her baby.

This week on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful, Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) plot may blow up in her face, or will it? Finn (Tanner Novlan) is on the hunt to find Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), as Luna becomes more unhinged and reveals more about her past and the thing she has done.

When Finn gets a clue, he questions Luna’s supposed boyfriend R.J. (Joshua Hoffman) about the night of Tom’s murder and begins to put two and two together. Eventually, look for Finn to find a caged and locked-up Steffy, but what will happen to Luna? Can she escape from her crimes – murdering two men and kidnapping Steffy?

And what of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont)? Will he finally realize how he has been duped by Luna all this time? Katie (Heather Tom) and Bill decide they must be the ones to break the news to Will (Crew Morrow), who was not too happy to learn that Bill had a daughter with Poppy (Romy Park). Also, look for a showdown between Li (Naomi Matsuda) and Luna with a potential for life-altering consequences.

This week on The Young and the Restless, history is revisited in the most uncomfortable and gut-wrenching way for Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Daniel (Michael Grazaidei), when their children, Faith (Reylynn Caster) and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant), wind up in an accident that can lead to heart-stopping consequences.

Y&R’s executive producer and head writer, Josh Griffith, has been teasing for months that classic “Cassie’s death” tragedy, might rears it tragic head again utilizing Nick and Sharon’s daughter, Faith getting herself in harms way due to the younger Lucy, who is the daughter of Daniel and Heather (Vail Bloom).

As fans of the series know back in 2005. Daniel was in the car drunk while Cassie was driving the car when it crashed and she sustaining injuries and could not be saved. Cassie was underage herself and without a driver’s license at the time of the crash.

Now in 2024, with Sharon having all sorts of memories and hallucinations involving Cassie’s death and Daniel continuing to be wracked with guilt almost 20 years later, how will this play out? Will both Lucy and Faith survive? Is this just a catalyst to more issues for Sharon? Stay tuned.
