"Friends, Comerades, Gems from all across the Empire from all walks of life, Planets, and Locals I welcome you all today, to the Official unveiling of the newly constructed Little Homeworld Galaxy Warp" cheers, whoops and hollors, as well as clapping could be heard as Steven Quarts Universe Savior Galaxy, The Heir to Pink Diamonds Court, and above all else resident of Beach City stepped down from the Podium as a construction crane pulled up a large sheet revealing the newly installed Little Homeworld "Still in Construction as Bismuth would regularly tell overly anxious Gems, and Humans".
"Thank you Steven" Garnet proclaimed as she took his spot up on the Podium overlooking the vast crowd who gathered to celebrate the event. "As you all know today marks a pivotal moment in Beach City history as well as Gem history to, just two prior to us all standing here the Empire was still in full force with many of us, not just my fellow Crystal Gems here on Earth Corrupted or Otherwise, but other Gems all across the Galaxy and those unfortunate enough to be caught in the blast of Corruption, being subjucated still by the Diamonds. Thanks though in no small part to Steven, and Connie's help." Garnet would nod over to the two Teens, who in turn would nod back to the fused Gem, "And the other fellow Crystal Gems Pearl, Amethyst, Bismuth, Peridot, and Lapis." The group of Gems would wave sitting up near the podium. "We have been able to bring an end to that Tyranny, which is also why I;m happy to announce that Little Homeworld is officially 83.7 Percent Complete." Another wave of clapping soon enveloped the crowd before Garnet would hold up her hand signalling the crowd to settle. "I would like to officially also announce that reservations are open to be placed for housing for various gems who wish to settle in, along with an enrollment sheet for Little Homeschool to be posted on the town bulleteen board later on this evening, I welcome you all to place your reservations and enroll at the school while you still can, and with that I hand this over to Pearl who will go over our vision for what we hope Little Homeschool will turn out to be for all you."
Steven yawned readjusting his position so his head could fall down onto Connies lap, the teenage girl giggling as her friend did so. "Come on you have to admit that was an impressive Speech Steven better then half of all we had to sit through these last two years." She would ruffle Stevens hair waiting for him to slowly rise back up. "Yeah I guess so and it is a great monumental undertaking what we are doing here, trying to provide a home a community where gems can feel like themselves and not have to worry about being some cog in the machine of someone else's plans." He grinned taking in the crowd around him along with the half completed central tower of Little Homeworld. 'If only Dad were here to see all this, he would get a hoot out of everyone coming together, to bad he and Sadie had to hit the road for the tour this week." Connie smiled placing a hand on her friend's shoulder, "He would be proud of everything that;s happened-" a beeping sound came from her purse as she groaned turning away from Steven and fiddling with the purse finding her phone, a quick glance over at the caller and she knew exactly who it was.
"Looks like Mom is getting up on my case again about not being back in time, I told her the ceramony here was going to take a while." She frowned as she pressed away on her Cell. "Hi Mom, yes I know Steven and I are still at the ceremony for the completion of the Little Homeworld Galaxy Warp, No Mom nothing bad has happaned, and yes I know I need to pack for Space Camp and all that." Steven perked up upon hearing that, but never the less let Connie continue to talk with Mrs. Maheswaren before jumping into the conversation. "I know Mom I;ll be back shortly, and get all that taken care of, By love you see you in a few minutes." She sighed as she ended the call and turned back towards Steven with an apologetic look on her face. "Sorry but looks like I got to get back to the house." Steven shrugged, giving her his Universe worthy Smile as usual, standing up afterwords and stretching. "Here I;ll give you a lift back in the Dondai, doubt it would be much trouble if I slip away for a few minutes to take you back home, let alone I should say hi to Dr. Maheswaren haven't seen her in a while." He stood held out his hand helping Connie stand, as the two began their trek down the hill away from seats twoards the Dondai, Steven jangeling his keys from his pocket and chatting it up with Connie before the two stopped dead in their tracks noticing an Oranged Colored Gem leaning up against a tree.
"Jasper, what a surprise what are you doing here, thought you said you were not interested in the speech up top." Steven greeted the once enemy gem turned bodyguard? Connie shrugged she never could quite understand how Jasper Quarts one of Stevens oldest foes who on more then one occassion attempted to kill Steven for some sick revenge he wanted, only to be stopped due to being corrupted and later now swear a oath just because Steven was now Pink Diamond? Yeah complicated. Jasper scowled looking over to Steven and Connie before peeling himself up from the tree, "I told you I don;t have time for this Little Homeschool nonsense, the only thing I care about is my duty to you My Diamond." Jasper knelt down, going into Diamond Salute mode. Steven groaned face palming, "look you don't need to do that, I;m not your Diamond Jasper, and besides Little Homeworld is not nonsense it's there to help lost gems from both the Crystal Gems and the Empire who have no idea what to do with their lives anymore, you know kinda like a certain angry Orange Cheeto I know." Jasper blinked standing up and dropping her salute as she tilted her head. "Cheeto? I have no knowledge of your worlds bizarre namings and customs." Connie and Steven giggled, she turned looking over at Jasper before sliding into the Passanger side, she poked her head back out. "It's a type of food, junk food in fact that we have here on Earth, you kinda resemble one." She popped her head in right before hearing Jasper yelling out in anger. Steven rolled his window down poking his head out, "Look we can discuss things when I get back, unless your interested in taking a drive with us to drop Connie off? If not I can swing by your forest cave you really though should give Little Homeschool and Little Homeworld a chance." he reached over grabbing a pamphlet from the Dashboard handing it over to Jasper who looked it over, a Brochure for Little Homeschool. "It's printed in Gemglypth so you don;t need to worry about English, give it a look at, who knows might catch your eye." Steven slipped his keys into the Ignition, peeling off from Jasper heading down the hill. Jasper scowled turning her attention away from the disappearing car and back to the brochure in her hands. "Humph, better be something good in here if they think it;s so important for me." She glanced it over a few minutes before stopping on something that caught her eye. "Wait they are planing to hold a sparring class? Humph." she closed the Brochure. "Could be worth a short I suppose, sharpen my skills in case my Diamond needs my service again."

"That was let me drive my van into your Heart, the hit single from Sadie Killer and the Suspects but did you know dear listener that Sadie herself never originally wrote or sang that song? No infact I have it on good authority with her Manager Greg Universe that he himself Wrote and sung that when he was but a young man himself still trying to find his way within the Universe, oh and before I forget Sadie Killer and the Suspects new hit single Disobedient will be hitting store shelves soon with a performance of the song debuting as the opener for their new tour."
The Dondai cruised along down the Delmarva Highway on it;s route towards Ocean City's outer Surburban Housing Neighborhood District. "You ever think it's wild that your Dad's song became this big hit but not with him?" Connie asked turning her head over to Steven, Steven smiled as he shook his head at hearing that. "Nah, Dad would be overjoyed just to know his music is even being a hit these days let alone being sung more than just him and me." He pulled the stick back turning off the highway towards the District, "We should be arriving at your house soon, so then out of 10 what do you think your Moms gonna be like when we arrive." Connie snickered hearing that, "Oh her usual worried self as she usually is." She sighs. "I just wish Mom would let me be me though for a little bit, she worries far to much." Steven took his right hand placing it over Connies left calmly rubbing it, "Your Mother's a good woman Connie and while yes she can be a bit overbearing sometimes, she very much cares about your wellbeing including your Father to." A Smile tugged at Connies face hearing that, "Thanks, you've always been a good friend Steven don;t you forget it." The Dondai pulled up to the Maheswaran Family Apartment. "I'll call when I get back to the Beach house, hoping Jasper doesen;t need me for anything after all." Steven sighed, as he rubbed his temples Connie smile returning his earlier gesture by doing the same placing both her hands over his this time. "This Weekend you and I should hit the beach again, have a Jam Bud Beach Party or something to get your mind off all this Universe and Gem saving stuff, so what do you say sound like a good time?" She smiled, "You know I think I would love that Connie." He leaned over kissing her, watching as Connie slipped out of the Dondai and entered her home. "Right then, should get home soon myself as well-"
"Cookie Cat he's a pet for your Tummy"
"Cookie Cat, he's super duper yummy"
"Cookie Cat, he's left his family behind"
"Cookie Cat!"
Steven groaned as he grabbed his cell unlocking it, "Why did I ever convince myself to put that on as my Ring Tone." Shaking his head he looked down at the caller Id noticing it was from Pearl. "Huh must have called because she's worried about me." He chuckled, oh the many memories of Pearls freakouts from his Childhood coming back to him. "Pearl how was the Speech sorry I couldent make it for the Speech, I know your worried but I took Connie back to her home-" "Oh Steven it's so good to hear from you again, after we last spoke back on Homeworld about the future of the Empire, really though you should get better communication devices this small one your species seems to carry what was it again that Your- I mean sorry the Pearl, spoke of a Cell Phone?" A groan would echo from Steven as he slumped back in his chair, it was'nt Pearl who called him but Yellow Diamond, Yellow Diamond was using Pearls Cell.
