Latest News: There was no team news update from Mikel Arteta on Friday afternoon. The only concern we know about is Bukayo Saka, who had hobbled out of the win over Manchester United, but even then Arteta said straight after the match that he thought Saka was “going to be fine”. Other than that, Arsenal are injury-free as far as we’re aware. That includes Jurrien Timber, who is technically available but who still hasn’t featured in the first-team squad despite recovering from a knee injury and playing twice for the under-21s. Things are settled with the Gunners' team going into the final day: Arteta has kept the same starting XI for the last four matches, with the performances mostly excellent in that time. The Arsenal boss could feasibly make a horses-for-courses change or two. Jorginho and Oleksandr Zinchenko are capable of more penetrative passing from their respective positions against Everton's deep block, while Arteta could move Kai Havertz back into midfield to accommodate Gabriel Jesus centrally. Really, though, the betting money would be on the same XI again with changes made later in the game if things aren't going to plan.

Latest News: Nicolo Zaniolo joined Jacob Ramsey (foot), Emi Buendia (knee), Tyrone Mings (knee) and Boubacar Kamara (knee) on the sidelines this week after suffering a broken metatarsal. Unai Emery also confirmed on Friday that Matty Cash, Youri Tielemans and Morgan Rogers won’t feature this weekend. The only injured player we didn't get an update on was Alex Moreno, who has been absent for the last two weeks with an unspecified issue. Tielemans' absence could see Jhon Duran rewarded for his two-goal cameo on Monday night, with Moussa Diaby instead moved to a left-wing role. With Champions League football secured for next season and nothing meaningful riding on Sunday's match, there is also the scope for further changes. Fringe/rookie players like Clement Lenglet, Calum Chambers, Tim Iroegbunam and Kaine Kesler-Hayden may get more meaningful minutes, depending on how benevolent their manager is feeling and whether he is unduly concerned about finishing the season on a positive note.

Iraola added that Chris Mepham (illness) was “improving” but didn’t know whether he’d be fit to face Chelsea. Ryan Fredericks (calf) and Luis Sinisterra (hamstring) look set to miss out again, then. Marcus Tavernier, a regular under Iraola before his injury, could come back into starting XI contention after his comeback cameo last weekend, while Tyler Adams is another recently recovered option in central midfield. Iraola sent out mixed messages on whether he might experiment with his team for this low-stakes game, saying that he was thinking "mostly of winning games" and putting out "the best team we can" but adding that "this is the best moment to try" something new tactically. Max Aarons, Philip Billing, Enes Unal and Alex Scott could come into contention, then, while Kerkez may be preferred to the supposedly wantaway Lloyd Kelly.

Latest News: There were no questions asked on Brentford’s team news in the broadcast section of Thomas Frank's press conference, although there is still an embargoed section to come. We do know that long-term absentees Rico Henry (knee), Josh Dasilva (knee), Ben Mee (ankle) and Aaron Hickey (hamstring) will remain sidelined but updates are needed on the other flagged players. Frank Onyeka missed out last weekend with a “minor injury”, while Nathan Collins was forced off in the match against Bournemouth late on. Neal Maupay should be available: he was absent in Gameweek 37 as he was attending the birth of his child. Zanka or Kristoffer Ajer will fill in for Collins if he misses out, with Mads Roerslev stepping in at right-back if Ajer is redeployed. There is also a chance that Frank starts with a third extra centre-half, as he often does against the 'bigger' clubs, but the Brentford boss might simply stick with the formation that has been working well of late, especially with this being the final game of the season and with little riding on the result. It's hard enough picking three attackers in a 4-3-3 let alone two in a 3-5-2: Ivan Toney, Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, Keane Lewis-Potter, Kevin Schade and Maupay are all locked in a battle for starts up top. Lewis-Potter has been preferred to Wissa in the last two but after the latter came on last weekend to score and assist, there may be a switch on the left flank - even though Wissa is arguably more effective through the middle. Mathias Jensen will be hoping for a recall in midfield, where Yehor Yarmoliuk is yet another alternative.

You'd think Adam Lallana would see minutes of some variety as he gets set to leave the south coast, with successive starts for Simon Adingra, Facundo Buonanotte and Julio Enciso this week potentially resulting in some fatigue-led changes and opening up a spot or two in attack. Danny Welbeck, a goalscoring sub against Chelsea, also surely returns to contention.

Aaron Ramsey (knee), Ameen Al-Dakhil (unknown), Nathan Redmond (leg) and Jordan Beyer (muscle) are out, with Luca Koleosho (knee) thought to be the only long-term absentee who had a chance of making a return this season - but time is running out on that. Latest News: Reece James begins a four-match ban, while Mykhailo Mudryk will miss out as he is observing the concussion protocol. Carney Chukwuemeka (knee) is back in training so could feature but Robert Sanchez (illness), Romeo Lavia (thigh), Wesley Fofana (knee) and Enzo Fernandez (groin) look set to miss out again. Mauricio Pochettino was cool on the suggestion that Christopher Nkunku will start in Mudryk's place, saying the Frenchman got more minutes than anticipated in midweek and that the Blues "cannot take the risk" with his fitness. Raheem Sterling could get the nod in Mudryk's stead, then, with Ben Chilwell another feasible alternative who is likely short of match sharpness after a recent spell out. You'd think Thiago Silva returns from his midweek breather for this his farewell game but who makes way is another question, with Trevoh Chalobah in excellent form, Benoit Badiashile improving and Malo Gusto underscoring his own credentials with an assist in midweek. Beyond that there aren't going to be too many/any alterations, with this in-form side looking to seal European qualification on the final weekend.

Sam Johnstone (elbow), Matheus Franca (groin), Cheick Doucoure (Achilles) and Rob Holding (hamstring) look set to remain out, too. Who replaces Hughes is the big dilemma for Oliver Glasner, who has kept a very settled side of late. One possible replacement, Naouirou Ahamada, is banned following Gameweek 37's red card, while another, Jefferson Lerma, is only just returning this week from a hamstring injury. Glasner indeed said on Friday that Lerma has to "get back into the rhythm" after a month out. If Lerma isn't ready to start, then David Ozoh, Jeffrey Schlupp or a redeployed Chris Richards are all possibilities to fill in. Should Richards be moved into midfield, a space opens up for Marc Guehi at the back.

Latest News: Sasa Lukic won’t recover from the minor calf injury that saw him miss out in Gameweek 37, while Issa Diop is suspended for one match after his dismissal last weekend. Tosin Adarabioyo is the most natural replacement for the right-sided Diop but the defender is supposedly on his way out of the club, so Marco Silva is likelier to look elsewhere. The Fulham boss indeed mentioned Kenny Tete and João Palhinha as possibilities but it would be a surprise if he didn't turn to Tim Ream, even if it means two left footers at the back. Tom Cairney or Harrison Reed could come into contention in the middle of the park after Silva surprisingly started without either in the defeat to Manchester City; Cairney was indeed thrown on at half-time of that loss. Adama Traore and Harry Wilson are alternatives out wide (Traore still hasn't started a single league game for the Cottagers), while it wouldn't be the biggest shock to see Raul Jimenez given a sentimental start at the expense of Rodrigo Muniz. Loanee Armando Broja is also an option in attack but he'll be returning to Chelsea after this game, so you'd have to question the merit of doing so given that he's presumably not going to be part of Fulham's future.

Latest News: There were no team news questions posed in the broadcast section of Jurgen Klopp’s final pre-match presser as Liverpool boss. What we do know is that Diogo Jota (hip), Andrew Robertson (minor injury) and Thiago Alcantara (muscle) have all been seen in training in recent days, so the first two in particular look like they will come back into contention for the visit of Wolves. Robertson for Joe Gomez is the likely change at left-back but Jota will surely be on the bench at best, having been out for longer. Other than Robertson's enforced absence, Klopp has named the same team in the last two Gameweeks. It's indeed after the introduction of second-half substitutes like Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai that the wheels have come off against Spurs and Villa, not that the blame can be laid at their doors individually. Alexis Mac Allister, a starter, was poor at Villa Park, for example. Conor Bradley, Curtis Jones and Ibrahima Konate are among the other benchwarmers hoping to get a look-in in their manager's farewell game.

Having made a comeback appearance off the bench last weekend, there's also a good chance that Chiedozie Ogbene will come in for Fred Onyedima at right wing-back. Rob Edwards joked about trying to win 12-0 in a bid to avoid relegation but did repeat that the Hatters would be going all out for the victory to sign off the season in style, saying that his team selection would reflect that.

Latest News: Ederson will miss the final league fixture of the season after fracturing his eye socket in midweek, so Stefan Ortega will come in between the sticks. Kevin De Bruyne, who took a knock to the ankle in the win over Spurs, will be assessed after training and is the only other known concern in the City squad. Pep Guardiola hasn't been overthinking things with his teamsheets recently, with nine players ever-present starters over the last three matches. Even with the changes he has made, they were partly led by a Kyle Walker illness and a Nathan Ake injury. There is a chance that Ake comes back in for this one to replace Ruben Dias, who made a couple of ricks in the midweek win over Spurs. The Ake/Akanji partnership had impressed, indeed, before the Dutchman was injured against Fulham. Mateo Kovacic seems to have brought the midfield control and calmness that Guardiola would seek at the 'squeaky bum' stage of the season, something that Jack Grealish also offers on the left flank - so if De Bruyne fails to make it, Phil Foden could tuck infield to make way for Grealish or Jeremy Doku out wide. Doku has shone off the bench recently but Guardiola may prefer to keep him as a supersub, rather than disrupt the balance of recent weeks.

Anthony Martial (groin) has been back in parts of training over the last few weeks, too, although it remains to be seen if he ever kicks a ball for United again. Erik ten Hag previously said that Mason Mount only had a minor injury and was expected to be fit before the end of the season but we’ve had no further update on him. A confidence-boosting goal for Rasmus Hojlund in midweek should see him restored at the expense of Scott McTominay, with ten Hag saying the Dane was benched against Newcastle to "keep him fresh". If the United boss wants to do that again ahead of next week's FA Cup final, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo are possible candidates for a breather as they have both started every single league game since Christmas. Marcus Rashford and Antony are alternatives to Garnacho, with McTominay, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro able to cover for Mainoo if needed. On the flip side of the game time coin, ten Hag will surely give more minutes to Lisandro Martinez ahead of the Wembley showdown with Manchester City - whether that's from the start or the bench again. Willy Kambwala is also back available at centre-half even if Varane and Lindelof are not, so it may be time to give Jonny Evans a rest after he was rushed back from injury in the last fortnight. While next week's final is of the most importance, the Brighton game isn't a dead rubber: the league still looks like being the most realistic route into Europe for United next season.

He managed to complete the game, at least, and we've seen him shake off knocks on several occasions this season. Howe was also asked about the prospect of recalling fit-again regulars like Nick Pope and Joelinton on Sunday, saying that it was a possibility but adding that the Magpies didn't want to take any unnecessary risks. Fabian Schar, whose absence was a lot shorter than many of the other recent returnees, could also be recalled, having emerged as a substitute in midweek. Kieran Trippier did start on Wednesday but was way off the pace, so it may be that Emil Krafth moves over to right-back if Schar is ready to return. A recovery for Wilson gives Howe the option of revisiting the 4-4-2 he used at Burnley, while Harvey Barnes and Miguel Almiron are alternatives to Jacob Murphy out wide.

Anthony Elanga may get a reprieve if that happens. Nuno said he wanted to guard against complacency and get the job done despite safety effectively being secured, so expect a strong team again.

McBurnie and very likely Jebbison may not be ready to start after spells on the sidelines (Jebbison has been out for a year) but there are lots of options in attack with Will Osula, Rhian Brewster and Cameron Archer all tussling for game time alongside Ben Brereton Diaz.
