The newest flagship gaming from GIANTS Software has been announced – Farming Simulator 25!
We’re going to go over everything you need to know about Farming Simulator 25 before its release to get prepared! There’s a lot to go over, so let’s go!
Release Date
It will be available on Tuesday, November 12th. This is 2-full weeks before the expected release date of November 25th. Previous games have been released on the date of their version, so FS22 was released on the 22nd, FS19 on the 19th and so on. This is one of the first games in recent memory to break that cycle, but it also means we get to play 2 weeks earlier than expected, which is always good!
Platforms Supported
FS25 will be released on PC, Mac, Xbox Series, and PS5. Old gen consoles, aka PS4 and Xbox One will not be supported. So if you play on one of the older consoles, you’ll have to upgrade to play Farming Simulator 25.
PC and Mac players can find all relevant required specs on the Farming Simulator website to make sure you’re up and running by the time November 12th rolls around. Additionally, keep an eye out for a dedicated video on that, coming out soon. And what better way to play multiplayer than with today’s sponsor; Gportal, follow GPORTAL On Your Favorite Social Media!

Pricing and Pre-order
Pricing is different for people all over the world, and Giants Software did not have any information on this for Pre-Release. But expect something around
(Pricing is;)
- PC – 50
- Mac – 50
- Xbox – 60
- PlayStation – 60
Preorders are live now, and if you do preorder, you’ll be getting the MacDon Pack with five exclusive pieces of equipment:
- (LIST BONUS ITEMS)
Usually, these can be purchased separately once the game is out, and I would expect the same thing here.

Pricing is different for people all around the world, so I’ll leave a few links below for you to check out in your area!
Year 1 Season Pass
As always, Giants tease the DLC’s;
- 1st Quarter – Innovative Machinery
- 2nd – Performance on Plains and Prairies
- 3rd – The Stars Alight
- And the Year 1 Expansion – Dive into a new map
This is the same amount we got in the first year of FS22 as well.
If you go for the Year 1 Bundle, it will contain;
- FS25
- 3x DLC Packs
- And the Year 1 Expansion with a new map
If you pre-order the Year 1 Season Bundle, it will also include the MacDon Pack we just talked about.
Collectors Edition
The Farming Simulator 25 Collector’s Edition will feature lots more than just the game! Of course, you’ll get the game on PC, as well as the MacDon Pack; but also
- The special Collector’s Box
- A USB Ignition Lock that works that will turn on your vehicles
- A Key Chain with Farming Simulator and Giants Logos
- 16-Bit Retro Edition of Farming Simulator, similar to the 8-Bit version that we already have, as well as a Soundtrack CD
- Modding Tutorials Version 6.0
- 32x Branded Stickers from your favorite brands
- 3x Posters, likely of the maps and growth calendars
- And a special New Holland CR11 Gold Edition
These can be purchased by anyone, but the game itself and USB Ignition Lock will only work on PC.
Game Modes
We’ve seen multiple different game mods presented in the past, with both single player and multiplayer available. GIANTS haven’t said exactly which modes we can expect to see yet, but they have said you can build your legacy single-handedly, or in multiplayer. And what better way to play multiplayer than with today’s sponsor; Gportal.
Giants Engine 10 and Weather
With a new game, comes a new version of Giants Engine, the backbone of the game and the thing that dictates how everything works. With GE10, you’ll feel a deeper connection to your fields and the nature around you, thanks to a general tech upgrade with improved graphics and physics. Including;
- Distance Fog
- Enhanced Shadows
- Dynamic Weather Effects
- Ground Deformation
- And more
It will be more immersive, and more atmospheric!
Maps
Farming Simulator 25 will ship with 3 maps, all with different environments;
- North American
- East Asian
- And Central European
I expect the North American map to be brand new, as well as the East Asian map. However, the Central European map I would guess to be Zeilonka, simply because they didn’t show it off in the trailer, and it was also described as “Central European” in FS22.
Additionally, Erlengrat was the last DLC map to come out for FS19, and was also included in FS22. Same with FS17 and Estancia Lapacho, though that returned as a mod, so this would follow the same pattern they have shown over the past 7 years.
UK & English players shouldn’t worry too much, as it does look like the Year 1 Expansion map is based around England and Scotland. For me, it’s the stone walls and house that give it away, with the lake in the background. We will also likely see another new map in the Year 2 Expansion, and maybe more. We’ll have to wait and see.
New Crops
2x new crops have been revealed; Rice and Spinach. Farming Simulator 22 had 17 base game crops, with 3x more added in the Premium Expansion. Not to mention all the trees from Silverrun Forest. Farming Simulator 25 is said to have “well over 20” crops. So we can likely expect all 20 crops from Farming Simulator 22 returning. Then add Rice and Spinach, that’s Farming Simulator 22. I’m curious if they are also counting Greenhouses or not. If so, we could be pushing close to 30 overall! From the get-go, Farming Simulator 25 will definitely be the largest game we’ve seen.
Equipment
FS25 is said to have over 400 real machines from more than 150 real life brands as part of the base game, including all your favorites from;
- Case IH
- Claas
- Fendt
- John Deere
- Kubota
- Massey Ferguson
- New Holland
- Valtra
- And more!
Including uses for agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry.
We’ve also seen some new brands; including;
- Aprilia (Italy)
- Mzuri (UK)
- And MacDon (Canada)
With more definitely to be announced! Not to mention all the things coming in the dlc’s!
Animals
Water Buffalo were teased in the trailer, with Giants saying “Mighty Buffalos and other animals join Cows, Sheep, Pigs, Chickens, Horses, and Other Livestock” They mentioned “other animals” twice – once as a new addition, and once in addition to… – They could mean Bees and Birds for the “in addition to” but I’m curious what other animals could be added to the game. However, this will have to be something we look at another day.
One thing we can already see are new cattle in the Year 1 Expansion Map, so get ready for that! As always, there could be more!
Production Chains and Construction
Lastly, Farming Simulator 22 brought us production chains and constructible items, such as the boats and roller coaster from Silverrun Forest. In Farming Simulator 25, we can expect new production chains and construction missions to extend our business opportunities. Now, I’m not sure if I would describe the constructions in Silverrun as “missions” so this could be interesting. Of course, new production chains are expected, though we have no idea what these are yet.
